We’re right on Hixson Pike, just north of Northgate Mall along the Highway 153 corridor, which makes us an easy drive for dog owners all over the north side of Chattanooga. If you’re coming from the Northgate or Big Ridge area, we’re only a few minutes away.

Dogs and their people come to see us from Hixson and the communities all around it, including Middle Valley, Soddy-Daisy, Lakesite, Red Bank, Signal Mountain, and greater Chattanooga. We regularly care for dogs from ZIP codes 37343, 37379, 37415, 37405, and 37377, plus the surrounding areas across Hamilton County.

I highly recommend the Healthy Hound! The staff is very sweet and they take great care of your fur baby! My dog got injured over the weekend and they quickly got us in on Monday. They even reached out the next day to check on her! Amazing staff and customer service!

Such a good experience! Prices were in line with any other vet I’ve been to, granted this was an appt with bloodwork and xray. Overall, this is absolutely our new vet! Everyone was so friendly and professional and the space was so nice that I didn’t leave covered in hair or smelling like I’d been at the vet. Thankful to have this office in such a convenient location for us.

From the moment you pull into the parking lot and see the signage, you know there was a lot of thought and planning put into the business. When you go inside, the decor seems like Ralph Lauren put it together! It is clean, and smells fresh, and is very welcoming. We felt like the receptionist, the vet techs, and Dr. Singer really care about their clients. Haley was very informative with the medications for our little Margot, and spent time explaining everything. Dr. Singer is very knowledgeable, spoke in depth about the treatment plan, answered all of our questions, and took some steps that you normally wouldn’t get in a corporate vet office. We are so happy to have found them!

Amazing staff and facilities. I had a mini crisis late Weds afternoon with my Chihuahua, Paris. When no one else would see her even though I begged for them to work me in, my wife reminded me about the Healthy Hound which is almost across the road from our neighborhood. I got her there at 4:50 and Dr Singer and his staff stayed 6pm running tests and explaining the results in a clear, caring manner, not once making me feel like I was delaying them wrapping up their day. They helped put my fears at ease and even Paris, who isn’t a big fan of many people, seemed very relaxed in their hands. I’ll never go to another practice here and will recommend The Healthy Hound to everyone I know with a canine friend!

I can’t even put into words how incredible Dr. Singer and his team are. My dog had an extremely rare condition that no vet had ever heard of. Dr. Singer performed a very complex and life saving surgery on my dog. Without him, our boy, Boogie, wouldn’t be here! We are forever grateful. If you need a vet, I can’t recommend him & The Healthy Hound Company enough, he is the best there is! He has a wealth of knowledge and truly cares about the dogs. You can tell it’s more than just a business, it’s a passion! The entire staff are so passionate and kind. My dogs have always been afraid of the vet but not here! Even after a traumatic surgery, our Boogie was so excited to be back and see everyone at the office. That speaks volumes to me! This really is a one of a kind place and we are so lucky to have this office in our area! Thank you, thank you, thank you to all of you at the Healthy Hound Company!! Words are not enough!! ❤️❤️
