Schedule Your Dog’s Appointment in Hixson
Ready to experience veterinary care designed exclusively around your dog?
Our team is responsive, scheduling your appointment promptly and hassle-free. We’re excited to welcome you to Chattanooga’s premier canine-exclusive veterinary practice.
We’re right on Hixson Pike, just north of Northgate Mall along the Highway 153 corridor, which makes us an easy drive for dog owners all over the north side of Chattanooga. If you’re coming from the Northgate or Big Ridge area, we’re only a few minutes away.
Dogs and their people come to see us from Hixson and the communities all around it, including Middle Valley, Soddy-Daisy, Lakesite, Red Bank, Signal Mountain, and greater Chattanooga. We regularly care for dogs from ZIP codes 37343, 37379, 37415, 37405, and 37377, plus the surrounding areas across Hamilton County.
Every dog we see is cared for under the leadership of Dr. Joshua Singer, the owner and lead veterinarian at The Healthy Hound Company. He built this practice around one simple idea: dogs do better with calm, unrushed care from a team that actually knows them.
He is personable, compassionate, knowledgeable, and genuinely takes the time to listen. He never makes you feel rushed, and it’s evident that he truly cares about both his patients and the families who love them.
I am completely convinced there is nowhere better and no one better to care for our dogs (Doak and Dooley). We are incredibly grateful for Dr. Singer and the entire staff at The Healthy Hound. They are truly something special, and I cannot recommend them enough!
